OVERVIEW
Malaysian Skills Certification Program (MSC)
This full-time program is designed to guide students through a structured progression of skill levels. Students must complete each level in sequence, starting with Level 1 before advancing to Level 2, and completing Levels 1 and 2 before moving to Level 3. The entire program spans a total duration of 18 months, providing a comprehensive and practical pathway to certification. Three main levels are as follows :-

Sec 27A – “FIRE SAFETY ORGANISATION IN DESIGNATED PREMISES”
27A. (1) – The owner, occupier or person having the overall management of the designated premises shall establish a fire safety organization.
27A. (2) – Any owner, occupier or person having the overall management of the designated premises who fails to comply with subsection (1) shall be guilty of an offence and shall, on conviction, be liable to a fine not exceeding fifty thousand ringgit or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding five years or to both.

“ESTABLISHMENT OF FIRE SAFETY ORGANIZATION IN RESPECT OF DESIGNATED PREMISES”
6B. (1) Any owner, occupier or person having the overall management of a designated premises shall, on an application made under regulation 6C, establish a fire safety organization in respect of the designated premises.
(2) The fire safety organization shall consist of one fire safety manager and at least three fire safety officers appointed by the owner, occupier or person having the overall management of the designated premises.
(3) The fire safety manager and fire safety officers appointed under sub regulation (2) shall be certified by the Director General in manner determined by the Director General.

Overview
A Fire Protection Installer (Electrical) – Level 1 is designated to assist, carry out, perform, prepare, conduct, fabricate, install and handle all electrical related activities in the installation of active (dry) fire protection works.
Learning Objectives
To assist, carry out, perform, prepare, conduct, fabricate, install and handle all electrical related activities in the installation of active (dry) fire protection works.
Learning Outcome
- Prepare materials, upkeep tools and maintains equipment.
- Assist all wiring installation works.
- Assist in installing and checking all fire alarm devices, equipment and control panels.
- Assist in carrying out materials unloading activities.
- Assist in fabricating conduits, hangers, brackets, trays and trunking.
- Assist in testing fire alarm devices, equipment and control panels.
- Carry out housekeeping in work areas.

- FP fabrication works (cutting, bending, threading, fit-out)
- Wiring installation & cable support

Overview
A Fire Protection Installer (Electrical) – Level 2 is designated to organise, check, install, undertake, identify, prepare and handle all electrical related works and activities in the installation of active (dry) fire protection works.
Learning Objectives
To organize, check, install, undertake, identify, prepare and handle all electrical related works and activities in the installation of active (dry) fire protection works.
Learning Outcome
- Organise tools, equipment and materials storage and conduct quality checks.
- Carry out all related wiring installation works.
- Install all fire alarm devices, equipment and control panels.
- Organise material unloading activities.
- Carry out all fabrication of conduits, hangers, brackets and trunking.
- Conduct testing of fire alarm devices, equipment and control panels.

Overview
A Fire Protection Active Supervisor – Level 3 is designated to collate, prepare, organise, monitor, enforce, verify, inspect, arrange, assign, conduct, coordinate, maintain and supervise the fire protection installation works and ensure compliance with the specification.
Learning Objectives
To collate, prepare, organise, monitor, enforce, verify, inspect, arrange, assign, conduct, coordinate, maintain and supervise the fire protection installation works and ensure compliance with the specification.

- Prepare material and equipment tools.
